RC seniors are ready to close the deal

Officials from the Rural Development section of the United States Department of Agriculture will be presenting a Community Facilities Grant March 19 at 9:30 a.m. for the completion of the Rogers City Area Senior center.

This funding is a culmination of five years of work by members of the Rogers City community to establish a senior center. Construction is scheduled to commence the first week of April and is expected to be completed in early June. This final phase primarily consists of constructing barrier-free bathrooms and a dining room, but also includes improvements throughought the building.
