Bond project on schedule

Onaway Superintendent of Schools Bob Szymoniak told the members of the board of education that the bond project is on schedule. He said all the architectural drawings are now complete and the groundbreaking is set for June 9.

“There is a need to scale back the project from the original design, due to a combination of declining enrollement, unpredictable school funding from the state, and unanticipated design problems,” he said.
