Habitat for Humanity in ?must have? situation to continue

Habitat for Humanity of Presque Isle County is in a ?must? situation in order to continue its good works of building decent and affordable housing within Presque Isle County. According to the Rev. Lloyd Ziebarth, Habitat director, ?Our local affiliate needs at least five people who are willing to serve on the board, otherwise we cannot continue to operate.?

Specifically, Ziebarth said they are in need of a Site Selection Chairman, a Family Selection Chairman, a Family Support Chairman, a Secretary, a Church Relations Chairman, and someone to help with finances.

Howard Purcell, regional support manager, will be present at the May 22 reorganizational meeting to help out the PI group.

The meeting will be conducted at the Rogers City branch of the PI District Library May 22, at 7 p.m. Everyone interested in Habitat for Humanity is encouraged to attend and lend their support.
