On May 14 at 6:25 p.m., officers took into custody a male, 11, of Rogers City on a charge of retail fraud (shoplifting) from a Bradley Highway business. The case will be petitioned into juvenile court.

On May 14 at 7:30 p.m., officers issued a citation to a Dettloff Street resident for a violation of ordinance 2002-10, the storage of a dismantled or inoperable vehicle.

On May 15 at 3:10 a.m., officers along with the Rogers City Fire Department responded to a dumpster fire in the parking lot of the Wenonah Street apartment complex. The fire was extinguished and the cause has been ruled suspicious. The RCPD was assisted by the arson investigator from the Presque Isle County Sheriff?s Department.

On May 18 at 2 a.m., a citizen reported to officers that a vehicle traveling north on County Road 451 near Airport Road had crossed the centerline into his lane of traffic. A description of the vehicle was obtained and at 2:40 a.m., officers observed a similar vehicle on South First Street driving in an erratic manner. The vehicle was stopped, and the driver was identified as a female, 55, of Rogers City. Alcohol was detected and tests were administered. The driver was arrested for operating under the influence of liquor.
