County Fair is this weekend in Millersburg

A full schedule of events is planned this weekend in Millersburg as the annual Presque Isle County Fair gets under way. One look at the schedule and it is easy to see if you miss the fair, you?re missing out. Judging of small and large animals alike will be taking place throughout the weekend. All animals have been raised by PI County 4-H Livestock Club members. The events start out Thursday with a baby photo entry and pie contest, pony rides, homemade pie and ice cream social and entertainment by Steven D and the Keys.

Friday brings the flea market/craft show, heritage crafts, children?s games, 4-H horse fun show, basket weaving and entertainment by Excess Baggage, to name a few events. Saturday is a day full of events. The animals will be open to viewing, there will be a moon walk set up, and animal showmanship will take place. The flea market/craft show continues, along with the pony rides, heritage crafts, children?s games, and basket weaving. A draft horse pulling contest also will be Saturday afternoon, along with the market animal auction, and the baby photo contest winner will be announced.
