Michelle Bednarski chosen Miss Posen 2003

This year four contestants vied for the 2003 title of Miss Posen, and put their hearts and efforts into last Friday evening?s pageant at Posen High School. After being named winner of the poise and appearance segment Michelle Bednarski stood on stage in anticipation with Shannon Ciarkowski, Darlene Sommerfield, coordination winner, and first runner-up Kyrie Kuffel, also winner of the congeniality award and the talent award. As the name was called, the former Miss Posen, Rebecca Nefske placed the crown and ribbon on Michelle.

Only then did Michelle pause to catch a breath, and take her hand away from her mouth. With tears in her eyes, she proudly strode the walkway to greet the audience, with a bouquet in her arms and disbelief on her face.
