In addition to the races for council, city voters will have two ballot proposals to decide. The first proposal is asking voters if they would approve a charter amendment to change the last day to pay summer taxes without penalty from July 31 to September 14, while the other will ask if the city should pursue bonds to finance infrastructure improvements to the Lakeview residential area.

Voting will take place November 4 at Rogers City High School with the city split into three precincts.

The cost of the election will be between $2,000 and $3,000, according to clerk/treasuer Theresa Heinzel. Write-in candidates will have until October 31 to declare candidacy. For more information, contact Heinzel at 734-2191.
