Judge Scott L. Pavlich recently heard the following cases in the Presque Isle County Circuit Court:

Justin Lee Porter, 20, of Onaway was found guilty of criminal sexual conduct ? third degree ? with a person 13-15 years of age.

Porter was sentenced to serve three years eight months to 15 years in the State?s prison with credit for 94 days served.

He must pay $120 in court costs and fees.

Porter also was found guilty on a charge of home invasion ? second degree and breaking and entering with intent.

On these charges, Porter was sentenced to serve three years eight months to 15 years in the state?s prison with credit for 82 days served.

He must pay $120 in court costs and fees and $1,080 in restitution.

Porter also pleaded guilty on a third charge of breaking and entering, and was sentenced to serve two to 10 years in the state?s prison with credit for 81 days served.

Kevin Charles Cole, 19, of Onaway was found guilty of delivery of a controlled substance ? less than 50 grams.

Cole was sentenced to lifetime probation. He must pay $4,970 in court costs and fees and $200 for the benefit of HUNT.

Further, Cole?s driver?s license was suspended for one year. He will become eligible for restricted driving privileges after 60 days.

Joshua Thomas Buckingham, 21, of Onaway was found guilty of child abuse ? third degree and domestic violence.

Buckingham was sentenced to serve six months in the Presque Isle County jail. He also must pay $120 in court costs and fees. This sentence shall be concurrent with any other sentence.
