Drama Club to present ‘Grease: the Rogers City version’ at Rogers City Theater

The cast is set and practices are now underway for the first stage production set on the new stage of the Rogers City Theater. The play ?Grease, the Rogers City Version,? or referred to as ?Re-Greased,? will run on Feb. 13 and 14 and February 20 and 21. According to director Megan Marx, a senior at RCHS, it is a Rogers City version of Grease, with the alumni of RCHS at their 25th high school reunion.

?The story line is that it is a 25 year anniversary for the gang of Grease. It takes place at the summer festival in the 70’s. The gang comes back to the tent and talk about their lives after high school.? Marx said. ?Some of the characters have been changed to fit Rogers City. Songs have been changed to fit the new play and are quite hilarious if I do say so myself.?
