Rogers City Winter Homecoming this week

Rogers City High School students have been busy all this week preparing for the winter homecoming basketball game Friday at 6 p.m. and the junior class-sponsored homecoming dance Saturday from 8:80 until 11:30 p.m. The week was designated as ?Spirit Days? with Tuesday as Switch Day and Wednesday as Mix-and-Match Day. Friday will be Orange and Black Day. In a school election, Kyle Greene and Kari Grigg were selected as the homecoming king and queen, and Cassy Brege and Jon Konieczny were chosen senior representatives.

The junior representatives are Charley Smolinski and C.J. Calabrese, while sophomores Vanessa Paquin and Chris Santini were chosen to represent their class and Tyler Greenway and Christine Meharg were chosen to represent the freshman class. Elementary representatives are Amber Pilarski and Casey Szatkowski.

Student council will sponsor a Friday pep assembly and the Hurons will host Alcona in the on-court duel, with the junior varsity game starting at 6 p.m. Coach Karl Grambau is scheduled to crown Kari as homecoming queen at Saturday?s dance at approximately 9 p.m.
