Posen VB regroups after league losses

It?s not the way the Vikings had hoped the volleyball contests against Mio and Hillman would go. They were looking to avenge last month?s losses to the Tigers and Thunderbolts in consecutive games, but ended up dropping both matches. Posen (7-4 overall, 5-4 North Star League) lost Monday at home to Hillman, 10-15 and 11-15, and at Mio, 9-15 and 12-15.

Coach Mandee Hincka found it difficult to explain why her team has struggled against the two schools. ?They?ve been playing together,? she said. The coach said it comes down to mistakes being made at inopportune moments. Jackie Szczerowski had three blocks against Hillman. The next two matches are at Atlanta today and then back at home Monday against Au Gres.
