TWO TO STATE!

Both the Huron softball and baseball teams will be off to Battle Creek for the state Division IV semifinals as they each won Tuesday at the Elk Rapids quarterfinals. The girls took a 5-3 win while the boys won 5-4. Both wins came at the expense of Mason County Eastern, which sent both softball and baseball teams to the state tournament last season. The girls play at 10:30 a.m. Friday at Bailey Park while the boys play at 2 p.m.
