Rogers City chamber plans annual meeting

Annette Rummel, president/CEO of the Saginaw County Convention and Visitors Bureau, will be the headliner at the annual meeting of the Rogers City Chamber of Commerce. The event is set for November 3 at the Rogers City Area Seniors Center. Rummel is known statewide as one of the top promoters of tourism. She made her mark guiding the destiny of the Frankenmuth Convention and Visitors Bureau, the second largest tourist attraction in Michigan (Greenfield Village being first) prior to her being lured away by the Saginaw group.

Festivities begin at 6:30 with a happy hour featuring hors d’oeurvres and plenty of liquid refreshment. There will be a short business meeting to elect directors presided over by chamber president Bill Dempsey prior to the guest speaker’s appearance.
