Kowalewsky qualifies for individual golf regional

Huron golfer Scott Kowalewsky shot a team low 98 at The Moor at Harbor Springs last Thursday to qualify for individual regional. He will be competing with 72 other golfers in the Division IV regional today (Thursday) at The Wolverine at the Grand Traverse Resort. In the team competition, Rogers City finished its season seventh out of 12 teams by shooting a 431 for the 18-hole tournament. The top six teams move on to today?s regional meet. District championship honors went to Harbor Springs. Golfing for the Hurons were Kowalewsky, Chris Santini, Jeremy Kortman, Matt Peacock and John Plath.
