Four-time winner takes Spitzer title

Alger Lamb of Rogers City took a first place in the Nautical City Festival Spitzer Tournament. The tournament was played Saturday at the Servicemen?s Club. He is the only four-time winner of the event, having won in 1995, 1996, 2005 and this year.

Individual team scores were: Hearts: Alger Lamb 354, Dale Sorgenfrei 261, Jennette Pilarski 246, Norm Haselhuhn 306, Steve Kamyszek 207, Gene Pilarski 225, Ethel Wickersham 180, Pat Lamb 297, Bob Hopp 279, Mabel Bredow 234, Rich Lamb 249, and Paul Hopkins 228. Total team score 3,060.
