Cards advance to regionals

The Onaway Cardinals (19-3) defeated Gaylord St. Mary to claim the district title. That came after a thrilling 62-61 win over Vanderbilt in the district opener last week. Though Vanderbilt came into the game 11-10, the Yellowjackets were considerably better than that record indicated.

Coach Marty Mix and his team take on Cedarville Monday at 8 p.m. at the Newberry regional. Good luck Cards!
