Boosters still in a ?wait-and-see? mode

The Huron Sports? Boosters could still use a hefty boost from people of the community in building up their ranks. There were a few new faces at Monday?s meeting at Rogers City High School, but more people are needed to not only take the burden off the current volunteers, who are keeping the organization afloat, but to make it better.

The future of the Huron Sports Boosters was one of three items on this week?s agenda. ?There still needs to be more interest and more involvement,? said Stempky. Board members were looking at possibly nominating new officers, but that was put on hold to see what happens at the next meeting in late April.

The annual awards ceremony is scheduled for May 18, tentatively, but a few items still need to be confirmed with the athletic director. Future fundraisers also were discussed
