Grambau Center community forum April 3

The future of the historical Grambau Center that has stood at the heart of Rogers City for 80 years will be the topic of conversation at the April 3 community forum sponsored by the Grambau Center Exploratory Committee (GCEC). The meeting begins at 7 p.m. in the Grambau Center gymnasium. Interested community members are encouraged to attend and share ideas and opinions on the proposed future of the building. Options range from demolition to renovation. Currently, the building is utilized for the Rogers City Area Schools? administration offices, as well as Alpena Community College classes. Space is rented out for preschool purposes, and various athletic groups use the gymnasium. The big, old building earned its name after Harry Grambau retired as the RC school superintendent.
