The finishing touches will be applied tonight at the dress rehearsal for the Miss Posen Pageant. The pageant is set for 7:30 p.m. Friday at Posen High School featuring four contestants. The contestants will be judged on their individual talent presentations, personality, coordination during the opening dance routine, and poise and appearance in the evening gown presentation.

Elyse Perrault will perform a dance/vocal routine to ?I Can?t Do It Alone.? She is the daughter of Edward and Theresa Perrault.

Michelle Eagling, the daughter of Michael and Jackie Eagling, will perform a vocal solo of ?Me and Charlie Talking.?

Ashley Sobek will perform a dance routine to ?Footloose.? She is the daughter of Joe and Sa

llae Sobek.

Bethany King, the daughter of Richard and Theresa King and Rick Ulch, will do a comedy dance routine titled ?The Evolution of Dance.?

The crowning of the new Miss Posen will end the reign of Miss Posen 2006 Tiffany Oliver. ?It was amazing,? Oliver said when asked to reflect on her year as queen. ?I absolutely loved it. It was so fun and my court was amazing and very supportive.?

Entering the pageant was something she wanted to do since she was a little girl and she encourages others to try it. She said if this year?s contestants ask for advice, she would encourage them to ?just be yourself.?

The pageant committee, consisting of Jan Misiak, Laura Idalski, Tammy Hincka, Judy Romel, and Meg Romel, has lined up a great evening of entertainment. Oliver, Presque Isle County Fair Queen Julia Lewandowski, and Toni Wilson will provide additional entertainment. Conrad Bruski will serve as master of ceremonies, GingerAnn Neslund is the choreographer, and Rex and Sherry Manning of Prestige Productions will handle the audio.
