Game two of the doubleheader told a different story as the game was scoreless until the seventh inning. Marx would sacrifice Tulgestke to second base via the bunt and junior second baseman Greta Grambau would plate her with a single.

Sam Hall followed with a double to score Grambau and Katie Darga singled to score Hall making the score 3-0. With two outs, junior Amanda Lenard stepped to the plate and stroked a double to score Darga and take the score to 4-0 in favor of the Hurons. The split gave the Hurons a tie of first place with the Chiefs. The Hurons play Newberry and Rudyard in conference play while the Chiefs have Sault Ste. Marie and Rudyard left on their conference schedule.

Schuiteman earned the win on the mound as she struck out six and gave up just four hits. ?Both teams made some outstanding plays, all four pitchers did a fantastic job and it was a hard-earned split.
