Citywide garage sales and spring fest set for this weekend

The Rogers City Area Chamber of Commerce is sponsoring two events this weekend that should make Rogers City a buzz of activity, of course, weather permitting. The weather forecast looks good for the weekend with partly cloudy skies and temperatures above 60 degrees Fahrenheit.
Friday and Saturday from 9 a.m. until 4 p.m. 37 registered garage sales will be open as a part of the citywide garage sale event. Maps complete with the location of each sale are available at the chamber office at any time as they will be located in the visitors information center which is open 24 hours a day. Each sale will also be marked with a sign and should be easy to locate.
The garage sales will offer a wide variety of items and delight many as they look for good bargains on things they find attractive. On Saturday and Sunday from 9 a.m. until 4 p.m. in Westminster Park is the annual chamber Spring Fest arts and crafts show. This year?s show will feature 22 vendors as well as some food providers. This is the first year the event will be held for two days as it is typically only held on Saturday. Please join the chamber in welcoming these events that will bring life and excitement to the area.
