Many events planned this fall in Onaway

The Onaway Area Chamber of Commerce is making the public aware of several events scheduled for this fall in Onaway.

Beginning Monday, October 19 is the ?scarecrows decorate the town? competition, which will be judged October 24.

October 24 is a busy day in the area, as the Kiwanis Club fall festival will take place in Chandler Park from 2-4 p.m. fe

aturing games and a costume contest. Also on October 24 is the annual poker tournament held at Stoney Links.

The Sportsman?s Show is scheduled for November 28-29, complete with a chili cook -off. ?We still need door prizes for the Sportsman’s Show and your help in promoting this event. Please help the chamber bring people to our town and to your business. Call today to let us know what you will be able to do to make this event bigger and better than last year! ?Cow Cow Boogie,? Dr. Anderson and his musical assistants, will be the entertainment at the annual dinner/meeting on January 30. Stay tuned for more details on the annual dinner.
