Senior health fair planned at Posen senior center

The Presque Isle County Council on Aging PICCA) is hosting a senior health fair Friday at the Posen center from 9 a.m. to noon. There will be lots of free stuff, starting with getting in the door, as there will be no admission charge. There are free health screenings, free transportation, as well as a free boxed lunch. Additionally, there are more than 20 exhibitors that will be on hand for what has become an annual event.

The screenings include: cholesterol (preregister at 356-8000), blood pressure, blood sugar, glaucoma, bone density, plus there will be colorectal kits available. Flu shots will be given, with the cost being covered by Medicare Part B, so anyone interest in getting a flu shot needs to bring their Medicare card. To reserve a seat on a PICCA bus call 766-8191.
