Beatrice Anna (Burzych) Grambau passed into eternal rest on February 16, 2012 at the home of her daughter Gwen in Sault Ste. Marie. Beatrice never completely recovered from a stroke she suffered in July 2010. Beatrice was born on July 24,1926 in Metz to Angus and Mary Burzych. She was the last surviving child of their 11 children.
Beatrice is survived by her devoted
husband and constant companion, Gerald H. Grambau whom she married on October 31, 1948. Also surviving are her loving children, Gerald G. (Sue) Grambau of Metz, Dr. Gail (Bill) Ruby, of Lake Waccamaw, North Carolina, Gwen (Don) Knapp and Glory (Mike) Kelderhouse, both of Sault Ste. Marie. She will be greatly missed by her grandchildren, Eric (Becky) Clancy, Craig (Susan) Grambau, Corey Hentkowski and Nikki Pietsch; and her step-grandson, Phil (Amanda) Knapp; as well as her great-grandchildren, Luke Clancy, Abigail Grambau, Samson, Deborah, Nathan and Amelia Knapp. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
