Gertrude Dean
Gertrude Dean, 99, passed away May 24, 2012 at her home in Rogers City.
She was born April 12, 1913 in Grand Rapids to John and Rankie (Nyhoff) Poll.
Mrs. Dean is survived by her daughter, Cheryl (Denny) Moran of Rogers City; six grandchildren, Debra Lampanie and Dawn Taliaferro of Grand Rapids, Deeann Johnson of California, Michael Thornton of Hawks, Shawn Moran of Alpena and Curtis Moran of Allendale; she is also survived by numerous great- and great-great-grandchildren. Gertrude was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Chester; and a son, Robert who she lost to cancer in 2001.
