by Angie Asam–Staff Writer

The  Kiwanis Fall Festival will take place this Saturday from 10 a.m. until 6 p.m. at Westminster Park in Rogers City.

More than 30 exhibitors are scheduled to be at the park offering a wide variety of arts and crafts. The farmers’ market will also be on hand offering the finest of their crops. Music and activities for children will also be available.

The Rogers City Key Club and the Girl Scouts are joining in the festivities to offer face painting, sidewalk chalk art and games for children. Pumpkin painting, watermelon bowling and a balloon twister will offer plenty for the children to do.

Bake sales, treats and many arts and crafts will be available. Weather permitting the ladies from Hillman will be joining the fun to demonstrate the art of spinning wool while dressed in costumes from the time period appropriate for the activity.
