Ferris J.R. Claude Parsons Jr.
Ferris “J.R.” Claude Parsons Jr., 63, passed away Wednesday, August 29, 2012 in Battle Creek, after a brief illness. He was born June 3, 1949 in Rogers City, the son of Ferris Claude Parsons Sr. and Maxine Ruth (Flannery) Parsons.
Ferris is survived by a son, Nichols C. “Nick” (Heather) Parsons of Dunedin, Florida; a daughter, Ashleigh B. Parsons of New Port Richey, Florida; two grandchildren, Rowan Eve Parsons of Dunedin, Florida and Lucas Otto Parsons of New Port Richey, Florida; three brothers, Robert (Barbara) Parsons of DeWitt; John (Marrie) Parsons of Valparaiso, Indiana; Bruce and (Patti) Parsons of El Paso, Texas; and two sisters, Candace Snyder of Southfield and Mary (Tom) Chapp of Osseo. He also leaves behind several nieces and nephews and his adopted families of Drs. Henry and David Brown of Battle Creek
