Leo F. Schwartz Sr., 87, of Tower died at McLaren Northern Michigan Hospital in Petoskey Monday, October 15, 2012. The son of Leroy and Dorothy (McInnis) Schwartz, Leo was born in Hannah, North Dakota November 30, 1924.

At the time of Marie’s death in 2010 they had been married for 21 years. Surviving Leo are two daughters, Brenda (Rick) Guardiola of Southgate and Sharon (Bill) Menard of Lincoln Park; seven grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren. Leo was preceded in death by his wife, Marie Schwartz; a son, Leo “Chuck” F. Schwartz Jr.; and a stepson, Joe Brown.
