Lynda Suzanne “Linzi” Velat, 65, of Presque Isle passed away October 1, 2012 at home.

She was born November 20, 1946 in Ann Arbor to Norman and Ruth (Robertson) Patterson.

Linzi is survived by her husband, Tony; a daughter, Jamie (Ron) Winkel of West Virginia; stepchildren, Janet (Frank) Goodman of Georgia and John (Galka) Velat of Chassell; nine grandchildren; one great-granddaughter; a brother, Dr. Jarrold (Elizabeth) Patterson of West Bloomfield; and a sister, Joan Sweet of South Carolina.
