Christopher Ryan Cole
Christopher Ryan Cole, 23, a lifelong resident of Onaway, died in a logging accident in Ocqueoc Township Friday, November 9, 2012. The son of Edward and Samantha (Sturgill) Cole, Chris was born in Cheboygan on August 13, 1989.
Surviving are Christopher’s mother, Samantha Cole of Onaway; his father, Ed Cole; three brothers, Eddie Cole of Onaway, and Jeremy Thrasher and Isaac, both of Alpena; a sister, Ciara Thrasher of Alpena; two grandmothers, Jean Cole and Susan Sturgill, both of Onaway; four uncles, Michael Sturgill (Billie Morell) of Onaway, Doug Cole, Lyle Cole and Mike McGrath; three aunts, Michelle Krueger and Dawn Post, both of Onaway, and Terrie Olsen; cousins, Kevin and Kyle Cole, Tyler and Andrew Sturgill, Sarah Krueger and Ian “Timmer” Bryan; many other cousins; and numerous friends.
