Phyllis Mae Mulka
Phyllis Mae Mulka, 88, of Rogers City passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by her loving family on November 5, 2012.
Mae was born May 4, 1924 in Conneaut, Ohio to Capt. Edgar and Marie (Cooper) Newhouse. She was full of life and laughter. Mae was a 1942 graduate of Rogers City High School.
She and her siblings were very close. Mae left behind her loving husband, Edwin; six grieving children, William (Sue) of Saline, Mary (Mike) Bauers, Faith (David) Shafto and Marie Mulka all of Rogers City, Margaret (Lloyd) Gough of Pinckney and Victoria Mulka of Memphis.
Mae is blessed with 13 grandchildren, Joseph, Kathryn, John, Melissa, Marea, Michael, Lisa, Adam, MaryAnn, Cassandra, Christopher, Edwin and Mariah. Bill, Mary and Faith gifted Mae with seven great-granddaughters and nine great-grandsons.
