Quarterfinal game moved to Manistique
The quarterfinal match with Onaway facing Crystal Falls-Forest Park has been moved to Manistique, the halfway point between the two schools. The announcement came over the weekend to make travel easier for the western Upper Peninsula team which would have had to travel 255 miles, an estimated five hours, to the scheduled venue in Petoskey.
Manistique is approximately 141 miles from Onaway and 128 miles from Crystal Falls.
The Cardinals claimed their first ever regional crown while Crystal Falls is no stranger to tournament play. The Cards were ranked number five in the last Michigan Interscholastic Volleyball Coaches Association rankings while Crystal Falls was an honorable mention.
