Sandra L. Libby

Sandra L. Libby, 65, of Onaway, formerly of Allenton, died at home, unexpectedly, Wednesday January 2, 2013. Sandra was born in Sault Ste. Marie October 9, 1947 to Douglas and Doris (Norton) Haver. She married Donald Libby in Union Lake November 13, 1965.

Surviving are Sandy’s husband of 47 years, Donald Libby, of Onaway; daughter, Tammy (Mike) Smith of North Branch; son, Paul (Dawn) Libby of Washington Township; seven grandchildren, Dalton (Caitlyn), Casey, Samantha “Sammie”, Josephine “Josie” and Margaret “Maggie” Smith, and Isabelle and Lila Libby. She also leaves behind her first great-grandson, Ari Jaxson Smith, born Christmas Day. Also surviving are brothers, Douglas Haver of Coldwater, Dan (Joanne) Haver of Orlando, Florida and Mike Rickerd and Ken (Cindy) Rickerd, both of Chesaning; sisters, Sharon (Royce) Baker of Raber and Peggy (Dave) Gilmore of White Lake; as well as many nieces and nephews.
