Grand opening of Little League season Saturday

Onaway Area Little League has had teams in action for a few weeks but Saturday will mark the grand opening of the season. Festivities will begin at 10 a.m. with the dedication of field #2 which has seen improvements since last year.

Following the traditional opening day ceremonies games will begin at 11 a.m. T-ball, rookie baseball and minor softball games will all kick off the days action. Rookie softball games will be played at noon followed by minor baseball games and major softball games at 1 p.m. The major baseball teams will play at 3 p.m. Saturday.
