Lavona Sorrells

Lavona “Babe” Sorrells, 85, of Rogers City, went to be with her Lord and Saviour on August 7, 2013 from her home.

Babe was born May 23, 1928 in Cheboygan to Raymond and Floriene (Trapp) Sova.

Mrs. Sorrells is survived by four children, Lynda Shafto of Gaylord, Terry Sorrells of Alpena, Nancy (Jon) Gagnon of Traverse City and Lori Sorrells of Rogers City; six grandchildren, Stacy, Kendra and Scott Shafto, Jenalea (Paul) Murray, Jesse (Stephanie) Gagnon, and Adam Gagnon; two great-grandchildren, Isabella Shafto-Searles and Charlotte Rose Fopma; two brothers, Gordon “Bud” (Norma) Charboneau and Calvin “Bobo” Charboneau; two sisters-in-law, Ann Thomas and Virginia Rickerson; and many nieces and nephews.
