Charles (Chuck) Fredrich Horn
Charles (Chuck) Fredrich Horn, 82, of Rogers City passed away peacefully at 10:10 a.m. Tuesday, October 29, 2013, surrounded by his beloved family.
Chuck was born March 31, 1931 in Rogers City to Fred and Edna Horn.
On July 11, 1953 he married Nancy Jean Christian of Cheboygan and they made their home and raised their family in Rogers City.
He is survived by his loving wife, Nancy; sons, Michael (Laura), Mark (Debbie) and Tim, all of Rogers City, and Chris (Marie) of Mesa, Arizona; a daughter, Kathy (Joe) Cocoran of Gowen; a sister, Corrine (Ivan) Schaedig of Alpena; grandchildren, Alicia, Christie, Michelle, Kelly, Lindsey, Jami, Kaitlin, Matthew, Jessica, Eric and Katie; and great-grandchildren, Austin, Josh, Kaiah, Charli, Ann and Marli.
Funeral arrangements are in care of the Hentkowski Funeral Home of Rogers City. Visitation for Chuck will be at the funeral home Saturday, November 2, at 9 a.m. with a memorial service to follow at 10 a.m. Interment will be at Mt. Calvary Catholic Cemetery. Memorials may be made in lieu of flowers to St. John Lutheran School, St. Ignatius Catholic School or a charity of friends’ choice.
