Clarence H. Williams

Clarence H. Williams, 78, of Onaway, formerly of River Rouge and Ecorse, died at home Thursday. October 17, 2013. He was born in Detroit June 15, 1935, the son of Arthur and Julia (Pankotai) Williams. Clarence married LenAnn Klaiss on October 11, 1958 in River Rouge.

Surviving Clarence are his wife, LenAnne Williams of Onaway; a son, Richard (Nicole) Williams of Trenton; a daughter, Sandra (Robert) Berg of Atlantic City, New Jersey; three grandchildren, Richard, Rachel and Nicholas; and a brother, Robert (Jacqueline) Williams of Black Lake. Clarence was preceded in death by his parents; one brother, Arthur J. Williams; and one sister, Teresa Williams.

Visitation and the funeral service were at the Chagnon Funeral Home Saturday, October 19, 2013 with the Rev. Josh Blanchard officiating. Masonic and Eastern Star ceremonies followed the funeral service.    Donations to honor the memory of Clarence Williams should be made to the American Lung Association or the Onaway Ambulance Equipment Fund.
