Francis LeRoy Baker
Francis LeRoy Baker, known as “Frank” or “Bear”, 85, of Onaway, died at Tendercare Health Center in Rogers City Wednesday September 25, 2013. The son of William A. and Capitola “Tola” (Skuse) Baker, Frank was born in Waverly Township January 24, 1928.
Surviving Frank are his brother, Jim Baker of Gaylord; half-brother, Buddy Schultz and half-sister, Marguerite, both of Arkansas; and many nieces, nephews and numerous cousins.
Cremation arrangements were in care of the Chagnon Funeral Home.
A graveside service will be held at Waverly Township Cemetery tomorrow (Saturday) at 1 p.m. Elder Denise Pauly will officiate.
A gathering will follow at the Waverly Township Hall. Donations to honor the memory of Frank Baker should be made to the Resident Activities Fund at Tendercare Health Center, 555 N. Bradley Hwy., Rogers City, MI 49779.
