Betty C. Stevens
Betty C. Stevens, 73, of Onaway, died at McLaren Northern Michigan in Petoskey Thursday, December 12, 2013. The daughter of Edwin “Bruce” and Zola K. (Morgan) Walters, Betty was born September 10, 1940 in Onaway. She married Earl E. Stevens December 12, 1958 in Onaway.
Surviving Betty are her husband of 55 years, Earl Stevens of Onaway; two sons, Ken (Brenda) of Millington and Craig (Suzanne) of Davidson; two grandsons; two great-grandchildren; and a brother, Bill (Darlene) Walters of Onaway.
Visitation and the funeral service were Saturday, December 14, 2013 at the Remnant Church of Jesus Christ in Onaway. Elder Faye Barrett officiated. Betty’s final resting place will be in Tower at Forest Lawn Cemetery. Betty’s family has suggested donations to honor her memory be made to her family and a charity will be designated at a later time.
