Eleanor Rita Modrzynski

Eleanor Rita Modrzynski, 81, of, Presque Isle passed away at home Wednesday, December 18, 2013.

Eleanor was born in Rogers City April 3, 1932 to the late Anthony and Elizabeth (Schott) Zielaskowski. On January 6, 1951 she married Clement Modrzynski at St. Ignatius Catholic Church in Rogers City.

Surviving are her husband, Clement; three children, Sandra (Larry) McLennan of Alpena, Kenneth of Presque Isle and Duane (Vicki) of Gaylord; six grandchildren, Sarah McLennan, Scott (Melinda) McLennan, Amber Modrzynski, Kyle Modrzynski, Elizabeth Modrzynski and Noah Modrzynski; a great-granddaughter, Meera McLennan; and a brother, Daniel (Lillian) Zielaskowski of Rogers City.

Visitation was at the Bannan Funeral Home Friday with a parish prayer service that evening. Visitation continued Saturday at St. Anne Catholic Church until the Mass of Christian Burial with the Rev. Richard Schaeffer officiating.

Interment will be at Mt. Calvary Cemetery.

Memorials may be made to Hospice of the Sunrise Shore and St. Anne Parish Center.
