Marjorie Roberta Doran
Marjorie Roberta Doran passed away December 7, 2013 at Fulton Street Manor in Grand Rapids. Formerly of Atlanta and Onaway, she had been living in Grand Rapids the past three years.
She was born February 22, 1926 in Elk Rapids to Buff and Lillia (Jenette) Andrus. On May 10, 1947 she married Arthur Doran Jr. in Wyandotte. He preceded her in death on April 28, 1994.
Surviving are her three sons, Arthur III (Sandy) of Kingsley, Bruce (Jo) of Grand Rapids and Scott (Lori) of Southgate; grandchildren, Nicole, Angel, Bryan, Kevin, Kathryn, Stephanie, Sean, George, Chris and Michael; many great-grandchildren; two brothers, Gil Andrus of Atlanta and Bud (Donna) Andrus of Sun City, Arizona; a sister, Ruby Burr of Wyandotte; and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was at the Chagnon Funeral Home in Onaway, Monday December 9. The funeral service was at the Atlanta Congregational Church, 12385 Jerome St., Atlanta Tuesday, December 10. The Revs. Keith and Ginny Titus officiated.
Funeral arrangements were in care of the Chagnon Funeral Home and inurnment will be in Briley Township Cemetery in Atlanta.
