A brother, Brad, 1 ½ , and a sister Emma, 3 ½  are welcoming Steven home.

Misty endured two hours of labor to bring the newest member of the family into the world and everything went well. They came home from the hospital to their home in Millersburg the day after Steven’s birth.

Steven is the grandson of the late Steven Walker, Mary and Ed Neumann of Rogers City and Ellen Kimball of Cheboygan.

Since coming home he has taken to the normal baby ways, eating and sleeping for the majority of his day. Misty said he is a quiet baby and everything is going well since bringing him home.

His siblings are being helpful, especially his big sister. Misty and Clay said the siblings were at the hospital with them for Steven’s birth and while they were still cleaning him off his big sister Emma was telling the nurses to “get away from my baby.”

Baby Steven and his family will receive a variety of gifts from local businesses in the First Baby contest. Gifts include a gift certificate from Sally’s Hairstyling for Misty, two packages of newborn diapers from Tom’s Family Market, a gas voucher from Onaway Auto and Finance, a gas card from Painter Petroleum, a free one-year subscription to the Onaway Outlook, a gift card from Woodwinds and gifts from Citizens National Bank and Awakon Federal Credit Union.
