Charles Stoyka
Charles Stoyka of Winter Haven, Florida passed away Thursday, March 13, 2014 from respiratory failure. He was 87. A native of Cleveland, Ohio, born December 19, 1926, Charles moved to Winter Haven in 1988 from Ft. Lauderdale, Florida.
Charles was predeceased by his first wife Barbara Stoyka. He is survived by his loving wife Joan Stoyka of Winter Haven; his sons: Charles Stoyka of Lakeland, Florida, Daniel Stoyka (Theresa) and Thomas Stoyka (Elizabeth) of Winter Haven; his daughter Patricia Timbrook (Tim) of Gwinn; his stepson Gregory Filipowicz (Chris) of Bloomfield Hills; his brother, Mike Stoyka of Warren; 10 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
Visitation was Sunday at Oak Ridge Funeral Care in Winter Haven. The funeral Mass was Monday at St. Nectarios Russian Orthodox Church in Lakeland. Interment will be at Auburndale Memorial Park.
