Co-valedictorians lead Class of 2014

Rogers City High School (RCHS) is proud to announce the honor students for the Class of 2014. Co-valedictorian’s Cynthia Kerr and Chris Wilk lead the way with a 3.97 grade point average (GPA). The salutatorian this year is Morgan Hall with a 3.94 GPA.

Kerr (3.97) is the daughter of Frank and Pauline Andrews. She has been involved with cheerleading, cross country and track for the Hurons and was a member of the 2013 Nautical City Queen’s court.

Kerr is a member of the knowledge bowl team and the city band. She enjoys photography, reading and writing, baking, outdoor activities and music.

After graduation in June she plans to attend Saginaw Valley State University (SVSU) for pre-medicine and later transfer to the University of Michigan (U of M) to become a doctor in the field of radiology.

Wilk (3.97) is the son of Clifford and Jackie Wilk. He is very involved with the band program at RCHS. He enjoys music very much. He is also a member of the Key Club and the Northeast Michigan Youth Advisory Council (NEMYAC). He enjoys reading and spending time with his fri

ends.

This fall Wilk plans to attend Alpena Community College (ACC).

Hall (3.94) the salutatorian of the class, is the daughter of Bryan and Ann Hall. She has played basketball for the Hurons and is on the softball team. She is also a member of the Key Club, Natural Helpers, National Honor Society (NHS) and the finance club.

Hall is also a member of the Northern Heat travel softball team and enjoys camping and spending time with her friends and family.

Hall plans to attend Central Michigan University (CMU) in the fall where she will pursue a degree in physical therapy.
