Whip VieFeld

Whip VieFeld, 74, of Onaway, died at home Tuesday, May 27, 2014. The son of George William and Ann Mary (Dzimowitz) VieFeld, Whip was born in New Haven, Connecticut November 5, 1939. He married Saundra Miller in 1991 in Andover, Kansas.

Surviving Whip are his wife of 23 years, Saundra VieFeld of Rogers City; his daughter, Jyll Charbeneau of Petoskey; and his good friend, Dave Hatfield of Onaway. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Visitation will be held at the Chagnon Funeral Home Friday, May 30, 2014 from 11 a.m. until the time of the funeral service beginning at 1 p.m. Burial will follow at Elmwood Cemetery in Onaway.
