Dolly Elizabeth Paulus
Dolly Elizabeth Paulus, 86, a lifelong resident of the Onaway area died at home Thursday, May 29, 2014. The only daughter of Richard and Hilda (Ferguson) Pincombe was born in Case Township near Millersburg March 2, 1928. She married Harold Paulus June 29, 1968.
Surviving Dolly is her husband of over 45 years, Harold Paulus of Onaway. His children became hers, as she raised her own, and then his. Their surviving children include Beverly Jean (Mike) McCreery of Ortonville, Gary (Sally Paulus) Tennant of Rudyard, Luana Miller of McBain, Steve (Jan) Paulus of Au Train and Dolly (Barry) Streeter of Chesterfield, Missouri. Also surviving are 16 grandchildren; 37 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren with two more expected this year; her brother, Frank (Estella) Pincombe of Chesterfield Township; and sister-in-law, Elsie Pincombe of Warren.
Visitation was at the Chagnon Funeral Home Saturday, May 31, 2014. The funeral service was at the First Baptist Church in Onaway Sunday, June 1, 2014. The Rev. Denver DeKeyser officiated.
