Lucile Alice Howell
Lucile Alice (Preston) Howell, 73, of Hillman was called to her heavenly home May 21, 2014. She was born December 8, 1940 to Edith (McDonald) and Earl Brynes in Flint. Lucille married Lester Howell of Vassar June 4, 2013. He took incredible care of his wife and loved her with all his heart.
She married Jerry Preston in 1959 and was blessed with five children, Joe Pete (Kimberly) Preston, Theresa (Bob) Arkwood of Georgia, Sandra (Dennis) Brown, Tom Preston of Georgia and Marcy (James) Schweizer of Onaway; 11 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
The family is planning a memorial service at 3 p.m. June 15 at the Seventh Day Adventist Church. Anyone wishing to bring a dish to pass would be greatly appreciated.
