Police search for body in Wilson Lake

A Michigan State Police dive team was out on Lake Wilson southeast of Millersburg as part of a missing person investigation. A Warren woman has been missing for several weeks and the investigation has apparently led them to this tiny lake adjacent to Lake Nettie. There is a channel connect the two bodies of water.

The dive team had two boats in the water and divers searching the water for the missing woman. Local sheriff’s detective Joe Mulka was on hand to provide assistance. “We did not find anything,” he said Friday after the search had been suspended just before 6 p.m. Law enforcement was organizing their search efforts Saturday “and keep searching.” Kimberly DeJohn has been missing since May 14. Her husband, Loyd, is jailed on a domestic violence charge.
