Shane Allen Sachs

Shane Allen Sachs, 47, a lifelong resident of Tower, died tragically in a house fire June 15, 2014. The son of Donald J. and Carol A. (Thomas) Sachs, Shane was born May 20, 1967 in Onaway.

Surviving Shane are his mother and stepfather, Carol and Mike Rainey of Tower; his father and stepmother, Donald and Donna Sachs; his brother, Troy (Patty) Sachs; and his grandmother, Dorothy Sachs, all of Onaway.  He also leaves his nieces, Alyse (Travis) Skiba of Alpena and Shaylee Sachs (Dakotah Kintigh) of Mt. Pleasant; a nephew, Lorne Sachs, also of Alpena, as well as a great-nephew, Keaton Kintigh. Also surviving are three stepsisters, Niki (Bruce) Bonter of Holt, Jodee Rainey of Brethren and Michelle (Jeremy) Paschka of Manistee; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
