Kurt Alan Campbell

Kurt Alan Campbell, 49, of Onaway, died at home Thursday, July 17, 2014. The son of James and Katherine (Rhinehardt) Campbell, Kurt was born May 18, 1965 in Highland Park.

Surviving are Kurt’s wife, Brenda of Onaway; four daughters, Jennifer Bentley (Cody) of Onaway, Sarah Campbell of Brighton, Mary Campbell of Onaway and Heather (Gary) Johnson of Indiana; five sons, Keith (Lindsey) Campbell, Kevin Campbell, and Daniel Campbell (Leanna), all of Brighton, Andrew St. Clair (Alexandra) of Petoskey and Kyle Campbell of Onaway; Kurt’s mother and stepfather, Kathy and Mike Starkey of Ypsilanti; two brothers, Scott (Sherry) Campbell of Clinton Township and Robert Turnquest of Taylor; as well as six grandchildren.  Kurt also leaves his father and mother-in-law, Bob and Janice St. Clair of Onaway; sister-in-law, Dawn Campbell of Detroit; and two brothers-in-law, Robert (Debbie) St. Clair of Homer, Alaska and Bruce (Loretta) St. Clair of Deltona, Florida.

Kurt’s family received friends at the First Baptist Church in Onaway on Tuesday, July 22, 2014 from 11 a.m. until the time of the memorial service at 1 p.m. The Rev. Denver DeKeyser officiated. Donations to honor the memory of Kurt Campbell should be made to his family.
